As a student, Mariah has changed a lot more than last year. She understand her assignments and ask the teachers about her assignments. Her strengths as a student is slow and steady. She has experience new things in her Senior year. Mariah is improving in her writing, she is speaking more in her classes and she is even volunteering to do things for school and chorus. Mariah got into Purchase college to study Jazz performance in Purchase Jazz program. Mariah's goals in the future is to create a new chapter in her college life at Purchase and improve as a singer. Her skills is mostly language and writing academics. Mariah's skills for writing has increased. She has created a Short story in a Novel form for her group. She used the crisis that her group was doing and created a character around the crisis.
Mariah has blossomed from being a small seed to a blossoming tree.
Frank McCourt has gave Mariah a few ups and downs during the years, but she remembers mostly the good things that happen to her along the way. Mariah have went to Boca Florida to do a festival with her choir. She have traveled to Europe during spring break. She opened up her ideas to her peers and teachers. Mariah also remembers performing in front of her class when they were in freshmen year. Mariah also remembers making new friends in Frank McCourt that she will never forget. Mariah is about to move onto bigger and better things as she moves up from high school senior to College Freshmen. Mariah's quote that she will keep in her memories:
"All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them." -Walt Disney.
This quote means a lot to me because my dreams are coming true one step at a time as I pursue them on my own with a little help from my friends and Family. My advice to all the students of frank McCourt, is to always pursue your dream and never let anyone stop you from achieving it.
